At this year's June evening potluck dinner and Healers Circle, we enjoyed a tasty selection of summer salads, fruits & other healthy foods. Following the feast, we had the chance to work with our presenter, Jan Butler, in learning how to make a room or our entire house more Feng Shui. Jan provided an overview of the different types of Feng Shui, and gave each of us some small gifts to promote wealth & happiness in our lives.
The ancient Taoist practice of Feng Shui is sometimes described as the art of placement of yourself and objects within a space. It teaches us how to balance and harmonize with the energies in any given space—be it a home, office, or garden. The aim of Feng Shui is to assure good fortune for the people inhabiting a space.
Jan Butler trained at the Feng Shui Design School in 1997, & started her Winged One Feng Shui business that year. She also is a very gifted artist in stained glass, feather fans & intricate pine needle baskets, as well as custom framing. Among Jan’s many talents are reflexology, doTerra essential oils, Tarot card reading, astrology, & Kabbalah/Hebrew sacred alphabet studies, tea study, raising orchids and parrot rescue.
Our gratitude is offered to Jan for sharing her skills and some of her amazing art works with our gathered healers.
