For our March circle, Vickie Dodd, world-traveling sound healing practitioner and instructor shared her expertise and helpful teaching about sound and movement for use as self-care. In this highly interactive presentation, we all reached into our body energy to express ourselves in vocalizations and movement, clearing and balancing our energy in the process. It was an illuminating and heart-felt sharing of Vickie's inspiring gifts. All of us on the call were so grateful for this time of learning.
The call was recorded, so that those who couldn't join us could watch later and those on the call will also find it useful to encourage deep self-expression. Vickie's website, sacredsoundworks.com/ offers more for those who want to delve deeper into this process of sound healing.
Many thanks, Vickie, for this time together.
Vickie Dodd pioneered the use of voice and touch as a bodyworker in the early 1970’s. From her beginnings, she perceived the world through frequency, energetic fields of geometry and color. This led to teaching others how to listen to themselves and to use their voices to recapitulate the memories and history that resides in their bodies. These teachings empower and educate the serious sound student to direct and evolve their emotional and physical maturation. She is the author of “Tuning The Blues To Gold: Soundprints” and has a new book “The Audible Body” that will be released in 2021. As director of Soundbody Productions she lives in Port Angeles, Washington, and teaches in Europe and many locations around the USA.
